Drifting on a grey linen background are two hand embroidered clouds, in soothing shades of pink, yellow and mint.
This would be a sweet addition to a child’s bedroom or nursery decor.
Traditional crewel embroidery techniques are used to outline and fill the cloud shapes, using chain stitch, laid trellis work and french knots, in Appleton Crewel Wool. Each of my embroidery pieces is completely hand embroidered and unique.
The embroidery hoop measures 3’’ / 8cm wide. It can be hung on the wall using the tightening screw at the top or propped on a shelf along with other treasures. The back of the hoop is covered with a card disc.
The hoop art will be carefully wrapped in tissue and tucked into a sturdy card envelope before posting.
