Full description
This hedgehog measures 30mm, nose to tail, 21mm tall. I have soldered a 20mm brooch bar to the reverse. I was unable to source a brooch bar with a rotating catch to fit the hedgehog. You can see the simple catch I've used, on the second picture.
I have built up several layers of clear enamel on the copper base then added first a layer of black then a layer of chestnut brown on the hegehog's back. I have drawn through these layers before firing to add features, that show through, the eye and the spines.
