I liked this waistcoat pattern for tit's versatility, either as formal wear or casual.

Full description
A hand knitted waistcoat for a baby worked in a merino yarn. The waistcoat is patterned at the bottom and the yoke has a cable twist up the fronts. It has a v-neck and fastens with a button.
The colour is hard to define. It is grey but in some lights has a lavender tint.
It would look good over a shirt as a formal top but equally suited to an extra layer over other tops.
Please note that the button is firmly stitched on but care should be taken to ensure it remains secure.
