I really love pink flowers, and enjoyed designing this wreath, followed by the slow meditative pleasure of embroidering each flower and leaf.

Full description
A sumptuously hand embroidered floral wreath, inspired by warm summer days and garden flowers. It is stitched on a white linen background, with flowers in shades of vibrant pink, crimson, sherbet and gold, against cool green foliage. The embroidery is stretched over a square frame, ready to hang in pride of place on the wall.
The embroidery is stitched with DMC mouliné stranded cotton thread which has a smooth sheen. The flowers and leaves are embroidered in satin stitch, long and short stitch, woven wheels and french knots. Each flower takes up to 2 hours to complete.
The completed wall hanging measures 8” x 8” / 20.5cm / 20.5cm. The depth of the piece is approx 2cm / 0.75”. The embroidery is stapled to a wooden frame and the staples and raw edges of fabric are covered with paper framers tape.
The embroidery will be carefully wrapped in white acid free tissue paper before posting in a sturdy cardboard box. It will be posted with recorded delivery.
