I have been intrigued as to how Russian rings fitted together and was recently told they were entwined in the same way as creating a venn diagram. I set myself a challenge and using copper I experimented - found it was not as much a mystery as I had thought. I liked the look of the finished product so set about make a Sterling Silver version and then as I love the look of gold and silver in the same piece of jewellery made the one or sale here and I hope you like it too

Full description
Russian Ring Pendant has been created using three rings made from 3 mm round wire. One ring has been given a texture, one is filed flat with a satin finish, and the third ring is made from Gold filled beaded wire. The rings have then been entwined in the same way you might create a venn diagram. I have suspended the rings from an 18 inch (45 cm) curb chain that has a simple hook fastening. The use of gold and silver together in a piece of jewellery gives this a modern look to a classic design. This lovely necklace is suitable for all occasion and will make a fabulous addition to any jewellery collection.
The flat plain ring can be stamped with a personal message - please contact me if you would like this option

What is Gold-filled: A solid layer of gold (at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base metal. Most high quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as high carat gold, even with daily wear, can last 10 to 30 years though the layer of gold will eventually wear off exposing the metal underneath. The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5 to 10 times thicker than that produced by regular gold plating.
