Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

I love Hastings old town, I have visited many times over the years and am always struck by the net shops, which are such unusual and eye catching structures.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This is an original 4 colour linocut print of the striking net shops in Hastings Old Town on the East Sussex Coast. This is the second design I have created of the net shops.
This is the 1st in an edition of 9 multi-colour prints. It measures 8 inches by 6 inches, the paper size is A4.
This edition has been created throughout the process of cutting a single plate from which two further editions of single colour pressed prints will be created, making this what I call a 'semi' reduction multi-colour print. The 9 prints of this edition will feature a variety of colour schemes.
This artwork is printed in a mixture of Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink and Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Ink on Fabriano Accademia Paper (200gsm).
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
It will be packaged in a cellophane packet and wrapped in tissue.
I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. I usually pop a piece of card inside the envelope for added protection, this is cut down from recycled sources.
