Welcome to Becky Haywood Designs, I am a maker based in North Shropshire, primarily working with glass, I am also a printmaker.
I teach both fused glass and flameworked glass.
I live in the deepest depths of rural Shropshire and we are very lucky to see hares roaming the fields around our home, I love to watch them and try my hand at photographing them, and frequently draw them and turn those drawings into designs for my glass.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This fused glass curve has a little hare gazing up into the stars at the moon. Great to pop a little electric tea light behind to add some cosy to the evenings, looks equally lovely sitting on a window sill with the sun shining through it, or on a mantlepiece, coffee table, or anywhere else you would like to admire it.
Each piece is designed by me, starting with my own drawings, I then cut it out from copper sheet and fuse it inside the glass to produce a durable design that wont fade or wash off.
The curve is approximately 12cm long x 6cm high.
All my work is wrapped in a custom made bubble sleeve, popped inside a pretty organza bag and then into a postage box to make sure it reaches the recipient in perfect condition.
If you would like to send the piece as a gift I can add a short note to the recipient on a little card, please just pop me a message in the notes to seller.
As each piece is individually handmade by me in my studio to order, the copper cut and arranged within the glass and then fired in the kiln, it may not be completely identical to that pictured.
The curve will be sent out by Royal Mail, first class post. If you would like to upgrade to a tracked or signed for service please contact me before buying and I can get a price for you.
