Full description

The Moth measures approx 7cm x 3.5cm & is 4-5mm thick. The wings protrude a further 2mm out from the body. The chain is 18" long and is nickel and lead free. This moth is also listed in my shop as a brooch.

EllyMental jewellery has been described as 'wonderfully whimsical' and 'wearable art' by customers and I think that sounds about right! All my pieces are based on things I love; animals and creatures of all kinds from bees to dinosaurs, literature, song lyrics, flowers and mermaids. I also love idea suggestions for new pieces from you lot!

In simple terms my creative process is: draw, draw some more, photo-shop, alter, add some words, paint, glue, layer metal, wrap paper and resin coat. It's a pretty unique process and one that has evolved over time and probably started brewing way back when I did my contemporary textile degree in the noughties!
