UNIQUE: Handmade Fused Glass 'PORTRAIT OF A LADY' Brooch. This brooch has been very carefully handmade using a variety of glass techniques. The hair and face are made from cut pieces of fusing glass. The details on the face have been carefully painted on using very finely powdered glass. The hair decoration is dichroic glass (metallic glass). The brooch was then fired in my kiln and the powdered glass and background fuse to become one piece.
A fun combination of glass techniques!
This little brooch is a limited edition and is signed on the back !!!
'PORTRAIT OF A LADY' comes in a nice little black gift box with the 'GLASSMAD' logo embossed in silver.
The nature of dichroic glass means that it will reflect light and will show differing colours.
Brooch measures: 3.3cm x 3.3cm x 4mm.
