I wanted to be able to create something with the little bits and bobs left over from my knitting and I also wanted to try out felting. I love experimenting with new techniques and I also enjoy coming up with new colour combinations for creating interesting pieces of jewellery.

This statement necklace has been created using nine felted beads made from various colours of wool to create a necklace representing our sun and solar system, strung on black 1mm hemp cord.
This makes a perfect gift for those STEM / astronomy enthusiasts in your life. Note the beads are not to any scale/true colour representation.
The beads balls are between 10 and 20mm in diameter and are really lightweight, ideal for anyone with neck issues.
The necklace is approximately 52cm at its longest and can be as small as you want it. This means the necklace can be worn long or short as a choker. Please measure the largest part of your head to make sure 52cm will be big enough to pull the necklace over.
The necklace has slip knots to allow for varying length options and easy application and removal.
