I first made these cards to help my friends when they came on holiday to Ukraine with me, to help them have a guess at what the words on signs and menus might mean.
I made the alphabet cards in 2 different designs, to suit what they would enjoy learning the most - this one with cute animals, and my other set (also listed on Folksy) with alcohol.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
A set of cute animal themed cards to help learn the Ukrainian Cyrillic alphabet. The box contains 34 cards, 33 for each letter of the Ukrainian alphabet and 1 quick reference guide that lists all the letters.
The front of each letter card is in Ukrainian, and shows the letter in both uppercase and lowercase, print and cursive. An animal that contains the letter is written in Ukrainian, with the letter being focused on in bold. In the middle of the card is a cute illustration of the creature.
The back of each letter card describes how it should sound. There are examples of words in English which contain the sound of the letter, with the exact part that sounds like the letter highlighted in red. Underneath it shows how to pronounce the animal word from the front of the card, the word split into syllables with the stress of each word marked in bold. In brackets is the English translation of the animal.
The cartoon animal cards are 6.2cm x 8.8cm and come with a handmade box. The cards and box are all designed and printed by Kim Onyskiw. Please note the cards are not waterproof, but have a coat of varnish to help make them more durable.
This set of cards is a handy way to learn Ukrainian Cyrillic for children or adults. Whether you want to start learning the language, show support to Ukrainians coming to the UK by trying to understand them better, or are just hoping for a future holiday to Ukraine and want to be able to recognise a few words in a different alphabet.
