I've described this as a 'Lily' as it's the best description I can come up with. If you have a better idea, please let me know.
This piece is a circular three-tier design, that could be put to a multitude of uses. One of the photos shows it with a piece of jewellery (not included), but it would equally serve as a candle holder if you used a suitable base. Or it just looks stunning as a centrepiece on a table. It has little rubber feet on the base to provide stability and to protect your furniture.
In terms of size, the lowest layer is approximately 19 cm in diameter, and the top layer is approximately 13 cm in diameter. It is 6 cm tall at it's highest point.
The lower tier is made from streaky green glass, and the middle and top tiers are salmon pink and streaky pink.
Each tier is made of 6 leaves, each of which is made from two pieces of hand-cut glass. Add in the centre for each tier. That's 39 individual pieces of hand-cut glass! The piece required 3 visits to the kiln.
