Knots of String is the new name for Ejog Creations
I make all of my creations using my own designs.

I recently visited The National Trust's Quarry Bank Mill. This was a fascinating and very educational visit. Quarry Bank is a working mill and I was able to see how the raw cotton was turned into thread which was then woven into fabric on the heritage looms. I loved the bee design on the fabric and decided I had to make a special edition collection of bee themed bags all with this wonderful fabric as the lining.

Full description
This beautiful bag is part of a new bee themed special edition collection.
Handmade in a recycled natural cotton with a flower decorating the front flap. A gold bee clasp sits below the flower to open and close the bag. The flap is finished with groups of tassels and a patterned wooden bead, which reminded me of the honeycomb in the hives,has been threaded onto the middle group.
There are 2 handles, a small one is attached to the top of the bag and a shoulder strap clips to the sides and can be detached if desired.
The double lining has been hand stitched into the bag and the inside has the signature bee fabric for this collection. The fabric has been woven on heritage looms at The National Trust Quarry Bank Mill.
Between the lining and the base of the bag is a small piece of recyclable plastic to add durability and a smooth flat surface to the bottom of the bag.
The bag is made from Welcome Yarn which is 100% recycled , composition 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled other fibres.
