I have wanted to make some messenger style bags for a long time and this design was inspired by a shroom/toadstool event I took part in. I am really happy how it turned out and I am now planning lots of new bag designs too.

Full description
I have crocheted the bag using a top quality grey cotton aran weight yarn which gives it a lovely neat finish and a nice thick fabric.
I have hand lined the inside of the bag with a pretty Timeless Treasures cotton toadstool fabric and I have added a magnetic closure to the front flap.
On the front flap I have added 2 crochet applique shrooms decorated with green accents and button spots. The front of the bag is also decorated with 2 more smaller shrooms. I have also added a removable shroom bag charm decorated in the same style as the appliques.
The strap has been reinforced with a slip stitch row on ether side which will help prevent stretching of the strap and also gives it a lovely neat finish. The strap measure approximately 95 cm
The body of the bag measure approximately 27 cm wide and 25 cm in length and it is approximately 5/6 cm deep.
Machine washable on a cool wash, reshape while damp and dry flat if possible.
