All orders within the UK are sent via UK Tracked 48 postage. Other Postage upgrades are available. Items sent overseas are International Standard post, which does not include tracking. Tracked International post is available to add to your order if required.

I bought a selection of heart shaped MDF and plywood shapes and thought they would make such cute stud earrings, so I experimented with a variety of colours and layers and these are the result!

Full description
These dainty mixed media heart shaped earrings are perfect for everyday wear, or to treat yourself to some little love!
Created by adding different layers of embossing enamel (or UTEE) onto an MDF heart shape it measures approximately just under 1.5cm long by 1.5cm wide.
I’ve used several layers of embossing enamel in two colours - for the base, a beautiful bright pink or fuchsia, followed by two layers of a deep gold colour with a tint of red - called Fire Opal. As the fire opal embossing enamel melted, it pushed out the pink colour underneath, creating a slight halo of pink around the edges of the hearts.
I have hand painted the back of the earrings with pink acrylic paint and a coat of an iridescent pink artists acrylic paint from Pebeo. I’ve also added and glued surgical steel earring posts, with matching surgical steel scroll backs. The posts are situated centrally in the upper middle of the heart shape.
The heart earrings are a good size, comfortable and lightweight but sturdy and will come to you packed and protected in an eco-friendly, recycled kraft card earring box that is made by a UK-based company that recycles UK and EU paper/card.
End of line - no defects.
