Welcome to our Folksy shop! We are retired, keen hobbyists who have spent years making and creating.
We make a variety of hand made gifts, decorations and ornaments.
As much as possible, we like to use recycled materials and packaging to do our bit for the environment along with re-using whatever materials we can.
These owls take quite some time to make but they are a thoroughly enjoyable glass project and inspiration for these came from us being lucky enough to see a huge barn owl fly past our bedroom window at midnight on Christmas Eve a few years back - it was one of the most fantastic moments we've had so far living in the country.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Fused Glass Owl Ornament
This slightly grumpy hand made owl has been hand cut and constructed feather by feather using specialist fusing glass in tones of deep blue and green.
He makes a fantastic gift for anyone who loves ornamental glass or has an interest in birds and owls, stand him on a shelf, a window ledge, dresser or sideboard and allow the light to dance across the ripples in his feathers.
We create this grumpy chap by cutting each feather and layering them to give him a fluffy look, we have finished him by mounting him on a semi circular piece of wood to give the impression of him perching on a log. The owl measures approximately 17cm high x 17cm wide including his wooden mount.
