I use old and damaged books to make paper bunting - an alternative way to view the beautiful illustrations which would otherwise be hidden away. These lovely bird drawings were from a vintage guide to British birds.
The bunting is the top length hanging in the group photograph.

Full description
10 pages of pretty illustrations of British birds made into a length of bunting. Included are sea birds such as curlew and gannet painted in beautiful pale blues and sandy yellows. As the images / pages are double-sided the bunting length can be hung so that it can be viewed from both sides.
Each page measures 11cm x 18cm and has been edged in pale green machine stitching which gives some strength to the paper. These have been stictched to a mid green cotton bunting 2cm apart giving a total length of 190cm (includes 30cm each end for tying).
