Tape measure bracelet, handmade from sterling silver.
This bracelet is as an extension of my Measured range where I was inspired by the seamstresses tape measure and observing how it hung on my studio mannequin twisting in its natural way. My aim was for my Measured pieces to reflect this form. I was so tempted to twist this bracelet but feel it worked wonderfully without.
I love the simplicity, even though it is a detailed piece!
I've hand-engraved the markings, hand-punched the letters and I have drilled holes either side of the measure from where I attach the bracelet chain.
The bracelet measures (no pun intended!) 6.5" long and I attach half an inch extension chain. This works well to suit the smaller side and plus size of an average wrist.
I have given the engraved side a sanitised finish and the reverse a polished finish.
It comes packaged in one of my branded gift boxes, with all the trimmings.
