I love turning wood, the joy of being the first person to see the grain as it appears is brilliant.
I only make individual items, the wood tells me what it wants to be: I tried to force a piece once and it nearly broke my finger, so now I listen to it.
I make bowls, tea light and candle holders, lidded pots, vases, Christmas decorations, hollow forms and sculptures.
I will even have a go at your own designs if you let me know what it is you are looking for.

Full description
This was a piece of ancient Beech that was rescued from the fire stack. It was insistent that its features should be maintained as much as possible.
It is 21 cm diameter and an external diameter of 30 cm and 7 cm tall.
The rustic nature is a real selling and talking point and will make a lovely addition to any dining room table.
Designed by Piers de Chenu in Suffolk
