Amethyst is the birthstone of those born in February. The stone is believed to promote groundedness, tranquillity, and calm. Its name comes from the Greek word for "intoxicate", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness.

Full description
An elegant amethyst and sterling sliver pendant. The round amethyst cabochon stone is 10mm in diameter and set in a handmade sterling silver prong setting. It comes with a 46cm (18") silver chain with lobster clasp.
