My mother, who had macular degeneration, used one like this so that she could read print when when her glasses just weren't enough. Very helpful for labels when out shopping! So when I came across a suitable magnifying glass I thought I'd see if anyone else would find it useful.

Full description
Individual magnifying lens with gold metal frame on a fancy chain to be worn around the neck. The chain is long enough to easily slip over the head. There is also a shell pendant that acts as a cover to protect the glass during general wear. The set can be worn either way round as is shown in the pictures.
Magnifier is a glass lens, 4cms diam & medium strength.
Chain is fancy design in antique gold & is 80cms long.
Cover pendant is fine a mother of pearl shell & is 6cms diam.
Presented in a gift box for protection & safe keeping.
