Full description

Wave design double sided setting in sterling silver, capturing a sea glass bottle stopper stem. The necklace is held by a sterling silver bail and has lovely tumble marks from the strong currents of the North Sea on the English East Coast.

SIZE

3.3cm long incl bail ( sea glass is 2.6cm) - top drilled on sterling silver bail and 18" sterling silver chain.

IF YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER LENGTH YOUR NECKLACE WILL BE SILVER PLATED

This stopper stem was found in Seaham, the world famous town on the east coast of England. Seaham is known for its sea glass multis, in multi colour shades of the rainbow.

Seaham is on the East Coast of England, near Durham and Newcastle. During the Victorian times until 1890s fabulous art glass artisan manufacturing took place in Seaham. At the end of each day small amounts of coloured glass was melted together and given to the Sea... nowadays these end of day pieces of sea glass get washed ashore. Some pieces have shades of the same colour, others are rainbow coloured.

Outstanding sea glass jewels to last you a lifetime! All pictures taken inside without flash.
