My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
About Harris Tweed:
This is a very special fabric unique to the UK and protected by legislation. It has to be:
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
The Act ensures that all cloth certified with the Harris Tweed Orb symbol complies with this definition and is genuine Harris Tweed, the world’s only commercially produced handwoven tweed.

Full description
Luxury heirloom Christmas tree decoration handmade from Harris tweed hand-woven fabric. I have created this gorgeous bauble with six segments of fabric, alternating plain golden yellow with yellow blue and black patterned segments. At the join of each segment is a sparkling line of gold beaded decoration.
It is approx. 8.5cm in diameter and comes complete with a gold satin ribbon hanging loop. A small "Orb" label, your guarantee of genuine Harris tweed, is proudly displayed.
This special heirloom bauble is packed in an individual clear box, which can be re-used to store it for year after year. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. Save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
