All my items are sent with securely attached tags. Tags should not be removed until you are sure you wish to keep this item - a full refund on your purchase price is only guaranteed if the item is unused and my tags remain attached. This does not affect your rights with regards to faulty items.

Full description
Hand stitched and embroidered silk moon with sitting cat. The moon is crescent and a sleepy cat sits contentedly on it.
Made from a dark steely blue/grey silk dupion and hand embroidered with cotton thread in feather stitch, this item is lightly padded and finished with blanket stitched edges. A hanging loop in co-ordinating thread will be added, but for the purposes of photography I used clear fishing line and you could easily replace any loop I add with this if you prefer. This ornament is very light and will swing in the slightest breeze.
The moon is hand embroidered on both sides, with a dove grey cotton embroidery thread. The cat's wee face is embroidered in the same colour, whilst the other stitching is all done in a shade to closely match the silk.
Approximately 15cm wide x 18cm tall.
This item is not a toy and should not be given to small children under any circumstances.
Please note that silk rots in sunlight and this item should therefore be protected from it. All the edges have been blanket stitched, but the item still has loose threads visible (silk dupion frays very easily) so this is not a "neat" item, but has a more rustic finish.
Both fraying and the limited lifespan of silk are inherent properties of the silk fibre and therefore not something I can prevent or control.
