I wrote this story many years ago for my children who are now grown and have families of their own. So I decided to resurrect it and, after many months of revising and editing ventured into the scary world of Amazon self-publishing. Probably the most nerve-wracking venture I have ever embarked upon. Once satisfied I created my own cover and prepared my work for uploading. All of this was, however, made worthwhile when a few weeks ago I received in the post the very first printed copy of my book.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, All the copies are signed.

This is a story for children over 10 and adults who love Fantasy
SYNOPSIS
Prudence was not a lucky child. Orphaned as a baby, she grew up on a small Island called Wight, where many were blessed with magical gifts. It was there that she fell foul of a bad-tempered witch and was cursed with a shrewish tongue.
Life can be difficult if, whenever you open your mouth insults pour out. So, lonely and afraid, she stumbles into a tiny village and here her life changes.
She finds a friend, discovers her own magic and makes a life for herself. Until a knock on her door puts her spirit and courage to the test and catapults her into a whirlwind adventure.
