I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I prepared my glass central tile and put it into my kiln and loved what came out.
I decided to go for fusion with this one and framed the fused picture with a stained glass border. A fusion of stained and fused glass. Hope you like it.

Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
This is a fusion of glass art techniques.
In the centre is a fused glass tile which represents a field of sunflowers with lots of swirls and a few miscellaneous other flowers. You can't control nature.
I fused the tile in my kiln and then shaped it neatly so I could add a matching border of stained glass. I've used white rather than clear glass for the border as it suits it better and add some matching green and blue squares.
Then it's all bordered with twisted wire for strength and hangs from a little silver chain.
This is quite heavy and is intended as a picture for the wall and not for the window as it is opaque. The backing for the tile is solid yellow so lets no light through.
The fused tile measures 10cm square and the full picture, with the 2cm border, is 15cm square.
It will be sent smothered with loving care in bubble wrap
The 5th picture shows the back of the piece so you can see the solid yellow of the fused tile.
