I am inspired by the landscape and native wild creatures of Cumbria and the Northern Pennines where I live. Hares a pretty rare these days and I saw 2 hares in one week this summer, I never realised how big and fast they are, a real native beauty for sure and one to be celebrated.

This image is of a hare running through the fields of the Northern Pennines in England where I live. It is printed by hand from a lino cut and is an original print NOT a printed reproduction!!
As each print is made individually they all vary slightly and have their own marks and little quirks.

Made using 300gsm white card print size 5 x 7” or 13 x 18cm , framed size 17 x 22cm. Please see my other prints too :-)
