I love watching garden birds, and have enjoyed drawing them since childhood! Now I stitch them and love to put them with pretty fabrics on my cards and in my framed work too. Mrs Blackbird is brown, Mr Blackbird is black.

A miniature hand-stitched applique design cut from my own hand-dyed recycled cotton with intricately embroidered details. Pretty cotton prints complete the design, perfect wedding, anniversary or birthday! (The male is black, female brown). The William Morris fabrics used have subtle gold metallic accents.
All my cards measure 12 x 9 cm and come with toning recycled paper envelopes in clear protective compostable cornstarch sleeves, no plastic! Each card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside. The title is written below the textile: 'Blackbirds'.
I always post promptly first class, and your card will be wrapped carefully and sent in good packaging to protect corners from damage on its way to you.
