I have a friend who recently moved to Cornwall, and now lives the country life, with chickens in the back garden. It just sounds idyllic to me, collecting eggs every morning and seeing these lovely creatures strutting about the garden. I like to make new Christmas themed decorations each year and the twelve days of Christmas also came to mind. This year its the three French hens - Oh La La! Cluck!

All items and creatures in the family of The Porcelain Menagerie are made from high fired stoneware or white porcelain and as such are as fragile as glass. They are vulnerable to being chipped or to break if dropped. Please treat with care when handling as items damaged by being dropped by the buyer will not be considered faulty for refund. Variations in the glaze and patterns on my porcelain hand-made items form part of the unique character of each piece and are intentional. Please note, these gifts are not toys and are therefore unsuitable for small children to play with. All items posted will be safely wrapped to protect them on their journey in tissue paper, cushioned and boxed for posting. Thank you for buying from my small business!
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

My dainty little hens have been inspired by the festive song 'The twelve days of Christmas" in which three French Hens are one of the gifts received from "my true love" on the third day of Christmas.
Made from textured fine white porcelain, they are hand painted and ready to hang on your Christmas Tree (and again at Easter too for the chicken and egg season?)
Available singly, or in threes, a truly true-love gift!

Your little French Hen will be posted 1st Class Royal Mail in the UK only. If you are purchasing from another EU country, she will be sent standard rate post.
She'll arrive in a little box, cushioned in bubble wrap and tissue.
