My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
I love the cheeky look of the Herdwick sheep with it's white face and sticking-out ears on a body of grey/brown wool. The lambs start out as dark brown, and the fleece goes more grey as the sheep gets older. This tough animal lives on the Cumbrian hills through all weathers, so the wool it grows is sturdy too. It’s great to be able to support local farmers too.

Full description
Handmade natural dark grey brown Herdwick wool chunky knit bag; sustainable and eco-friendly. This shoulder-bag has been hand-knit on giant needles for a chunky modern look, using 100% pure Herdwick wool. Then I have lined it with cotton fabric to keep it from stretching out of shape, with a useful little pocket inside.
The bag is 31cm tall by 27cm wide. The strap length from the bag to the bag is 78cm long. If I hang the bag on a hook and measure straight down, it is 38cm from the hook to the top of the bag. If you would like a version with a longer "cross-body" strap please contact me for a custom order.
This fabulous bag will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. Postage shown is for the whole parcel - save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
