This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A patchwork heart, a new 2019 addition to my heart designs, this one a 'Fat' heart.
It is 13cm high by 13.5cm wide.
I have used a wonderful selection of red glass to make a wonderfully colourful suncatcher which will cast beautiful beams when the light catches it. I've chosen streaky, textured glass all in shades of red to make a blood red heart.
It is a simple heart shape in a patchwork arrangement of 15 pieces. I've framed it for strength and neatness with twisted wire.
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached to either side of the top to hang it.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The last photos shows 5 colour variations which are currently also for sale as separate listings.
This would make a wonderful present for someone you love.
I can make it in different colour combinations, please ask.
