An ancient motif featured in the stonework at Hull Minster I found myself particularly drawn to the four-petal flower. Hull is my hometown the architecture and maritime history has an impact upon my work. Researching I discovered four-petal flower is often in Christian religion a representation of each season. More research I discovered that the 4 petal flower has been used by the Aztecs and Mayans, where it could represent the underworld or a portal between worlds.
Always inspired by the force of nature the range is also a tribute to one of my favourite artists Alphonse Mucha and his Seasons paintings.
Designs are developed from my own sketches and drawings to create durable jewellery with a delicate organic appearance
