Full description
These unusual copper earrings have been made from strips of hammer textured copper sheet. The multicoloured effect is applied using gentle heat to partially oxidise the copper, it moves through a range of colours: blue, purple, pink orange and bronzey yellow. Every pair comes out differently due to the unpredictable nature of the metal.
They'd make a great gift for the 7th wedding anniversary or for any fan of rustic jewellery.
Over time the colours in this type of jewellery may start to change, this is a natural process and part of the charm of copper. To prolong the life of the multicoloured effect please take care to remove the earrings when showering, swimming etc, and when not in use keep them in an airtight box, also don't use any type of polishing cloth / compound on them as this will dull down the colours. My own pair has lasted for several years so far with no noticeable difference in colour, following these care instructions :)
I make these earrings in batches of 5-6 pairs at a time, the last picture shows the current batch that your order will be selected from.
