The paper on the covers of this sketchbook was designed and printed in England, by Cambridge Imprint. They hand design their products, which are printed with eco friendly inks. I love the clear, bright quality of this design, with its slightly clashing red and pink and the slightly uneven, hand-made effect of the spots. I really like Cambridge Imprint papers and always find them inspiring to work with.
I filled this book with a printmaker's paper, by Zerkall. The paper has a slight texture, which makes it good for print and inks, but is also great for many other media, such as pencil, soft pastel, charcoal, oil pastels. It would also take some paint, especially gouache or acrylic.
The combination has made a great sketchbook for anyone who enjoys drawing and painting.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
Standard returns policy applies to this item, except when a customised label has been purchased and attached to the book. If the book has a customised printed label, the book is then not eligible for return, unless it is faulty. However, if there should be a problem with your order, do contact me and I will do my best to resolve it to your satisfaction.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A beautiful, luxury A5 sketchbook with hard covers, filled with Zerkall paper. A great gift for an artist or journaller.
The cover paper is by "Cambridge Imprint" in "Bean" design, bright ruby red with a pink spot. They are lined with pink art paper.
The book is hand bound with a combination of coptic chain stitch & link stitch, in purple linen thread. The binding allows the book to open out flat throughout.
It contains 32 pages (64 sides) of high quality, smooth Zerkall printmakers' paper. The paper is suitable for pen, pencil and other dry media and also paint and ink.
It would be ideal as a sketching and testing book for a printer or painter. It would also make a good journal or planning book, notebook etc.
The book measures 7.75" x 5.5" / 20cm x 14cm ( just under A5 size).
PERSONALISATION
A plain white label can be attached to the cover, or the first page at no extra cost. Please leave a message at checkout.

This book is a one-off item and, for your security, it will be posted to you by Royal Mail "Signed For" delivery. The delivery is tracked and a signature will be needed on receipt.
