When I was playing with this colour combination, I thought it looked really like a red and white Scandinavian style!

Full description
These cute Scandi inspired snowflakes are a wooden shape with a cut out decorative pattern.
The surface of these wooden shapes, have been decorated with a durable embossing enamel from a British crafting company, Be Creative - called Wonder Crystals! I've used two different colours - Carnelian and Opal. Opal is a combination of creamy white, blue, mauve and dark pink and shimmering mica powder and Carnelian is a base of red with taupe and black speckles. Both have been melted and layered, which have swirled and marbled into a lovely random pattern. Due to the serendipitous nature of melting this embossing enamel, each snowflake has a slightly different marbled pattern enhancing the uniqueness of these one of a kind earrings!
Measuring approximately 3cm across but extremely lightweight and comfortable, I have added silver plated earring wire hooks, that are a base of surgical steel - extremely hypoallergenic.
On the reverse of these earrings, I have hand painted several coats of opal metallic artists quality acrylic paint and added a layer of clear acrylic varnish.
These pair of Scandi style earrings will come to you packed and protected (with acid free tissue padding if necessary) in an eco-friendly, recycled cardboard kraft card earring box that is made by a UK-based company that recycles UK and EU paper/card.
