Oh, my. Where to start? Somewhere an oak tree grew for centuries. And while it was growing a burr formed on the trunk. This burr also grew for many, many decades, without harming the oak tree. We don’t know when it was removed from the tree-or if the tree continued to grow, as they can be harvested without felling the oak.

For 4 decades we have had the burr in our care, waiting for the right moment to transform it into an utterly fascinating, decorative and unique bowl.

We have highlighted the base with gold coloured filler. The bowl measures approximately 34 cm. at the widest and is 7 cm. high. We have finished it with great care, ensuring it is a beautiful object to own.

When purchasing two or more items, please contact us for a revised price of postage. The postage quoted is for delivery, within the UK. For other countries please inquire, as some have restrictions on the importation of timber products.
