My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
Harris Tweed is a very special fabric; in order to be certified genuine and granted the “Harris Tweed Orb symbol” it has to be
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
In this ever-changing mass-produced world it is a joy to find something so traditional, truly handmade and sustainable.

A special treat for your Christmas table, in amongst your mince pies and Christmas cake - this festive Harris tweed tea cosy.
I have made this beautiful quality cosy from the world renowned Harris Tweed handwoven fabric in a lovely red and green check. It is lined in white cotton fabric, and wadded with polyester to keep your tea warm. The Orb label, your guarantee of authentic Harris Tweed fabric is proudly displayed.
This tea cosy is to fit a medium (4-6 cup) teapot. It measures 33cm (13ins) across the base, and 26cm (10ins) top to bottom. If your teapot is a different size please contact me for a custom order.
This beautiful cosy will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. Save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
