There just seems to be such a lot of faux taxidermy about - i just wanted to have a go and being so mouse obsessed of late - that's what it had to be!

Full description
Faux taxidermy mouse head on a beech wood shield with a felt back and wire hanger.The head is made from hand stitched cashmere with black bead eyes and nose. I have knitted her a hat and scarf in a wool yarn that fades slowly from one colour to the next (and that is 'yes' i really did knit the hat and scarf - seemed to take ages -knitting is way too slow for me ) !
The REJECT part is under her head which you can't really see , but i over stuffed the head and burst the stitches which i have then mended. So all is secure.
I papier mached the wire hanger onto the back and then covered the back in felt.
The overall measurement is about 11cms.
The price would have been £20 had she been perfect.
