Hello! I specialise in delicate and dainty jewellery made from silver and top quality gemstones that I source direct from a family of artisan gemstone cutters in Jaipur, India, before bringing them back to make into jewellery in my studio overlooking Mounts Bay in beautiful Cornwall.
*ALL OF MY JEWELLERY COMES BOXED* so it's ready to give as a present to someone special - and that includes yourself!
*Not everything I make is listed here* If you've seen something at a craft fair and can't find it here, please get in touch with me directly.
Or if you'd like something a bit different, feel free to ask. I have over 2500 different gemstones so there's a lot to play with!
I run my business as environmentally friendly and ethically as I can. I use eco silver, recycled and recyclable packaging and re-use any plastics that come my way and, by going directly to the gemstone cutters, I know who is doing the work and their working conditions.
Lapis Lazuli is one of the first gemstones to be mined - from the C7th BC onwards. It has a fascinating history. Perhaps the most interesting one is that it was ground down and mixed with oil to make the pigment called Ultramarine. Because it was so expensive, it was saved for the most important items, which is why in Renaissance art the Virgin Mary is usually depicted wearing blue - Lapis Lazuli derived blue.

The most fabulous bluest-of-blue AA Lapis Lazuli rectangles topped with flashing Rainbow Moonstones. The colour of these stones is simply knock out, and is enhanced by the clever faceting of the gemstone cutters of Jaipur, India, which is considered the gemstone cutting capital of the world.
Please note that Lapis Lazuli has pyrite running through the stone which gives it a gold shimmer in places - pyrite is also known as fool's gold. It's not a flaw in the stone but a natural part of it, and is one of the features that has throughout history made Lapis Lazuli a desirable semi precious stone, aside from that stunning blue colouration.
I've topped the Lapis Lazuli rectangle with a faceted Rainbow Moonstone rondelle. Lapis Lazuli is the birthstone for September
Lapis Lazuli rectangle approx 10mm x 6mm, rainbow moonstone rondelle 2mm x 4mm.
All ear wires and other fittings are made from Sterling Silver.
If you'd like a different type of ear fitting - such as a stud or safety ear wire, clip-on or screw fittings for non-pierced ears, or surgical steel for those with allergies then get in touch with me as I will happily make it for you.
All my jewellery comes in a beautiful presentation box. There are other items that match these earrings - a necklace with the same Lapis Lazuli pendant, one without a pendant, and a bracelet.
- I try to make and post orders as soon as I can, but let me know if it's urgent or you need it by a particular date.
