When I saw this beautiful colour in fabric paint I just had to use it to create Orchid. I wasn’t sure what she would be when I started but having painted the cotton fabric in this fab yellow I then painted yellow stripes and added some glitter paint for the skirt. I then painted a white orchid flower yellow for her hat and voila, here she is.

Meet Orchid. Standing at around 28cm in her beautiful ball gown she would make a colourful addition to any room. She has a wooden face, arms and legs and her face and hair are hand painted and she has, you guessed it an Orchid hat to emphasise her unique look. Her beautiful ball gown is hand painted cotton in a fab shade of lemony yellow for the bodice with a deeper mustard under skirt and hand painted cotton lemon and yellow overskirt with a little bit of glitter which is not apparent in the picture. Daisy trim around the bottom of the skirt with diamante type beads at the waist and down the front of the bodice for a bit of bling. A beautiful white and heart patterned bow completes her look. She comes with her own stand, so she can be displayed to her best advantage anywhere in your home.
