I will endeavour to post within 24 hours, but items may still take a long time to reach you due to the pressure under which the Post Office is working. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to send items to Northern Ireland.
Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. Therefore I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.
The colour of the fabric suggested a night sky. This in turn suggested a bedtime story. As a child I loved the poem 'Wynken, Blynken and Nod'.

This is a large midnight blue Afghan blanket or wall hanging. It measures 33" (84cm.) by 46" (118cm.) inside a long 4" fringe. The embroidery depicts Wynken, Blynken and Nod sailing across the night sky, fishing with nets of silver and gold from their wooden shoe boat. I used metallic threads for the nets. If required I can supply a copy of the poem with your order. The colours are a little darker than they appear on my computer. The threads are colour-fast and the blanket can be hand-washed in cool water. (There is a patch of darker dye on the back of the work, which doesn't appear on the front.)
