Full description
Tape measure earrings, handmade from sterling silver.
These earrings make part of my 'Measured' range.
Inspired by the seamstresses tape measure and observing how it hung on my studio mannequin twisting in its natural way, my aim was for the finished pieces to hang fluidly and take on this form when worn.
I've hand-engraved the markings, hand-punched the letters, and twisted the metal to add the fluidity.
My hand-forged earring hooks have an added needle eye detail for an extra twists. A detail which you can find on my cotton reel earring designs too.
I love the detail of shiny and matt apposing sided finish.
They measure approx 6mm in width, and 37mm in length.
Fully hallmarked at The Sheffield Assay office. And packaged in one of my branded gift boxes, these earrings come with all the trimmings.
