I love how "Willow Bough", has been popular for well over 100 years - it's so beautiful and timeless. I've been lucky enough to visit Morris's favourite house, Kelmscott Manor near Oxford by the Thames with lots of willow trees by the river bank. And I've been reading & re-reading the Forster novel just about forever, and love the two dramatisations including the recent one. It seemed a perfect conbination to embroider the one on the other. Full description
This is a hand-embroidered cushion for you, with the famous quote from E. M. Forster's novel "Howards End" on a background of genuine William Morris "Willow Bough" pure cotton fabric in tones of blue. A lovely sentiment and would fit in many interiors. The cushion comes with pad and measures 42 cm X 31 cm. It's got my label sewn in the seam with my hoopoe motif. Thanks for looking and for supporting hand-made!
