Bunch of Violets.
I have made this Dorset button using a Perle cotton thread in green on a 1.25” (25mm) brass ring the finished circle is just slightly larger. I have embroidered it with French knots in a pretty violet shade of purple. The finished button resembles a lovely bunch of violets.
It is hanging from an 18” (45cm) silver plated chain which fastens with a lobster claw catch.
This little pendant is a lightweight piece of jewellery, therefore, comfortable to wear.
It is sent in an organza bag and would make a lovely inexpensive gift that is a little bit out of the ordinary.
