Full description
I have built up a base of clear enamel over the copper shape then added a layer of brick red. The red layer is semi-transparent and the copper shines through, its golden brown modified by the red. I have drawn in features of the pig, a hock, an eye, but these are not easily distinguished except on close examination.
The pig measures 40mm, snout to tail tip, 22mm, trotters to ear tip. It is mounted on a 26mm brooch bar soldered to the copper base. The pin secures with a rotating catch.
