Full description
A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted and unique.
This is a Spider's Web, or at least a segment of a web, complete with an attached spider.
All 9 sections oft the web are different types of glass, some red, turquoise, clear iridescent and generally a rather lovely combination of colour.
The colour coordinated spider is made from a deep purple nugget fused in my kiln and wire.
This suncatcher is 12 cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the web.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
