All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
I like to make animal jewellery and I'm finding that a lot of people like wearing them, especially the brooches. I'm always being told that brooches aren't fashionable but tell my customers that - who wants to be "fashionable" when you can be original instead?

A tortoise brooch recycled from a bronze penny and a domed bronze halfpenny soldered together, both 1906, so obviously neither are in mint condition! I wanted a more subtle effect for the shell and a more worn surface seemed to be a better option than a more recent example.
Approximately 3cms long. Finished with a sterling silver fastener.
Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Cleaning guide enclosed.
FYI - Bronze is an alloy of 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc.
It is used to represent the 8th wedding anniversay in the traditional calendar and the 19th wedding anniversary in the modern version.
It is illegal to deface the queen's image if the coin is still legal tender. The pre-decimal coins that I use are no longer legal tender - and I also have a license to do what I do.
