Bowl 3) 170mm diameter x 132mm high x 45 mm diameter at base. Mahogany, Lime and Ebony 225grams weight. I was using a technique with a scroll saw to make bowls and using some of the woods left over from guitar making (bought from Timberline, who import woods from sustainable sources for luthiers) I am very pleased with it (The matching one split apart on the lathe and I glued it back together and my sister wanted it, she is a potter! The Japanese call it Kintsugi)

Full description
a wooden bowl with lovely wood grains. The top rim has a little dink, where the diameter of the piece wasn't quite enough to be turned on the lathe and to loose the top inch would have spolit the patter, in my view, so I left it with an imperfect rim, which enhances the unique nature of it, in my view and has the added advantage that it fits back against the wall on a narrow mantlepiece or shelf. I used it for apples for a while, now it is gathering dust, looking for somebody who appreciates it.
