A piece of Oak from my Parents garden. (They save their pruning's onto a wood pile which I collect periodically for my wood pile and eventually my wood burning stove). This one made its way to be spun on my lathe and it has a lovely grain.

An Oak bowl with a lovely wood grain ( Note one Shake: the natural cracks that open up sometimes in timber but don't go all the way through, has slightly opened when it was made, but hasn't changed in 5 years, giving it a slightly distressed, natural feel:- definitely NOT plastic of factory made!) 100mm Daimeter x 88mm tall. 400 grams weight
