I needed a blotting action when I was doing some traditional watercolour, using nibbed dip pens and Indidan ink (Which is lovely as the water colour paint doesn't stick to the black ink lines!) and I saw a similar blotter in an antique pen shop, but it was VERY expensive and rather boring in its design....so I made my own. Hope you like it.
